Senior Accountant

As a Senior Accountant your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Preparation and review of individual, partnership, corporate, and other various tax returns
  • Preparation of compiled and reviewed financial statements
  • Maintenance of depreciation schedules
  • Communication with various taxing authorities regarding tax notices
  • Special tasks/projects as needed
  • Assist clients with routine tax and accounting inquiries

To be successful in this position, candidates must possess:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • CPA certification
  • Minimum of three to five years of tax experience in public accounting or a combination of corporate and public accounting experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Critical thinking, problem solving, and organizational skills
  • Strong time management skills and a desire to work in a fast-paced, deadline- oriented environment

Staff Accountant II

As a Staff Accountant II your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Preparation of individual, partnership, corporate and other various tax returns
  • Reconciliation and maintenance of general ledgers
  • Bank statement input and reconciliation
  • Other necessary tasks to meet client needs
  • Compiled financial statements

To be successful in this position, candidates must possess:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • CPA certification or actively studying
  • Prior experience is preferred, but on-the-job training will be provided to those who can demonstrate a clear capacity to learn quickly
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong time management skills and a desire to work in a fast-paced, deadline -oriented environment
  • Ability to apply knowledge and training to various tasks throughout the cyclical nature of the accounting calendar
  • Proficiency with Thomson Reuters CS Professional Suite (Ultra Tax), QuickBooks, Peachtree Sage, and Microsoft Excel

Staff Accountant I

Full and part-time available

As a Staff Accountant I your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide assistance to clients compiling financial and compliance reports for internal and external users
  • Maintain general ledger and all related accounts with proper documentation and records of all company transactions. Responsible for closing of the general ledger
  • Process client’s accounts receivable including invoicing; accounts payable including generating checks
  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliation for all accounts, sales & use tax reports for appropriate states, and assist payroll department in processing payroll checks, payroll records & reports

To be successful in this position, candidates must possess:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in accounting or two years full-charge bookkeeping experience or a combination of education and experience
  • Working knowledge of computer software including: Excel, Word, QuickBooks and Peachtree Sage a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Critical thinking, problem solving, and organizational skills
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Clerical Staff

Full and part-time available

This position is responsible for providing administrative support to the firm. Experience with general office support, scanning, photocopying, filing, and receptionist coverage is required. This position is full time with some overtime expected during peak seasons.

As clerical staff your responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Provide high-level support to all staff
  • Assembly and mailing of client tax organizers
  • Assembly of tax return and financial statement packages
  • Scanning client documents in accordance with firm protocol
  • General administrative tasks – word processing, photocopying, filing, scanning
  • Receptionist duties, including answering the phone and assisting clients in person
  • Assist in client bookkeeping including keying checks, deposits, payroll, etc.
  • Additional duties as assigned
